FANS AND INLETS

Exal has been manufacturing ventilation fans for well over two decades and was the first NZ company to manufacture greenhouse circulation fans. These fans have evolved over the years into top quality, high performance, affordable products totally at home in the harsh environment of a greenhouse or poultry house. T o remove air from a building you have to introduce a fresh source, for this purpose Exal has produced a range of inlets, these come in a variety of sizes and can be made to custom fit awkward areas. The range includes motorized PVC louvers, evaporative cooler (wet wall) inlets and biomesh quarantine frames for all inlets and fans.

SHADE / ENERGY SCREENS

Exal has been supplying and installing shade / energy / blackout screens into all types of structures from crude home built timber greenhouses to large commercial glasshouses for well over 20 years. In the past, screens were thought to be a luxury that most growers couldnt afford, nowadays with new generation cloth, UV inhibited components and high tech low maintenance drive gear, screens have not only become highly affordable but also a powerful tool for many growers. Big advances in cloth manufacture mean that there is a wide range of screens available for controlling light levels, heat, humidity and daylight length. With rising energy costs, the 30% savings that a screen can offer has become a highly attractive proposition for todays grower.
